New Mobo and old ram

The only way I can upgrade to newer specs is to buy an A64 s939 mobo with AGP, and am wondering if Mushkin PC3000 memory would still work in it? I dont think it's dual channel memory though, and the mobo supports dual channel, can the memory still work until I can afford new ram?
