I don't under stand why, but i set the FSB to 200, and have my ram set to 100%, and for my muiltiplyer, i have tried 10, 10.5, and 11...but i never get this thing above 600mhz...

To the best of my knowledge... 200FSB x 10 = 2000mhz processor...not 600...

I am knew to the mobile world...what am i doing wrong...

My mobile 2600+ defaults to unknown 600MHz processor if I reset my bios but I easily set it to 12.5 X 200 for 2.5 GHz. It should only do that the first time you boot. I'm running an Abit NF7. Can't imagine why you can't set your multiplier.

I had a similar problem with a Soyo KT600 Dragon, although my mobile 2500+ was showing up as 1200MHz, unfortunately it was not just a BIOS display issue, it was performing as a 1500+ (1200MHz) too.
Seems that some mobo get confused by the mobile.

Might be a mobo/bios issue. Like the others said, no mobo's correctly ID the mobile's yet. Mine defaults to 800. What mobo are you using?

EDIT: NM, that shuttle a NF2 right? Have you tried updateing the bios?
