you know that scene where Ripley/Sigourney goes
into the lab and finds her genetic mutant sisters,
most of them in formaldehyde, one still living ?

this isn't quite like that. and, there's no Chi-Bernard,
just kidding.

one of the smartest dogs i ever saw was a
Mexican feral/wild dog my parents adopted.
actually, it adopted them. they went to a
resort in Mexico, and all the lifeguards would
chase the dogs away from the beach, where
some of the tourists would feed them.

Perrito, as he was called, dug a hole in the
sand and buried himself, underneath the beach
chair my parents used. he did that at night, i
suppose. it was enough to escape the lifeguards'
sweep of the beach. when my parents came back,
he was there waiting for them, up to his neck
in the sand.

Both of the yorkie mixes look just like yorkie puppies. I wonder if their appearance changes as they get older? Both say their colors lighten, but yorkies do that too.

I guess I'm wondering why you'd want to mix that breed with another small dog? Yorkies don't shed and are pretty intelligent to begin with.

I love the american eskimo mix... partially because I already have an american eskimo dog. :)
