New Mining Rig Possible Dangers?

Hey Guys;

Am planning to shift my three mining rigs (3 Aluminum cases) into one wooden shelf (Spurce Pine Wood) to reduce space occupancy and make maintenance more manageable. But I'm concerned of possible fire breaking out or other possible issues. Any suggestions?

Regards;

If one of the PCs caught fire, it wouldn't really matter much if one caught fire sitting on a wood/carpeted floor, or on a shelf. They would all likely burn, and the fire would possibly spread if you were not there when it happened. Also, as long as the shelf is strong enough to not break or warp from the weight of three computers.

As long as there is sufficient air flow in the area (e.g. enough clearance in the back to allow the exhaust to move out, I don't think it would matter that much. Most desks are made out of wood, and many have areas where the computer sits.
