New Microsoft Mice...mmm, leather ;)

Another reason why I choose Microsoft for my mouse and keyboard products. These new mice are ridiculous. How sweet they look.

I was thinking this was for rich people that don't use a computer much, all for the looks

but that's just a guess

MS needs to focus on performance of the hardware as oppose to some superflous design. Look @ logictech mx700, now dats a nice piece of machine.

Not everyone needs/uses the top of the line wireless mouse. If you go around to schools, homes, libraries, chances are that 95% of the mice are from Microsoft. Atleast where I live, in schools, libraries, and most homes I"ve been in with computers use a Microsoft Optical mouse.

Plus, the MX line can't handle all the surfaces MS mice can. Yes, I know I post this constantly, but people need to realize it's not THE BEST MOUSE EVER!!!!@#$. So tired of seeing posts like that.

I dont know what kind of surfaces you work on, but I have a slightly glossy black desk that my MS mouse wont work AT ALL on. Its completely skippy. The MX700 actually handles the same surface a bit better, although not perfectly.

Yeah the sweat issue mentioned above is what came to my mind. Nothing like rubbing your grubby palm all over a piece of cow carcass for hours on end, for months or years before it's replaced.

mmmm...cow carcass.....

If we contradict you frequently enough.... will you give it up?

my MX700 handles the semi-plain finish of my desk better than the Intellimouse it replaced.... not even a contest.
quit being jealous of our stuff.... enjoy your own.... no need to look for that validation at every turn.

love,

I own both, so I'm clearly not jealous. I use one at work, one at home. The IE3.0 handles my 3M PMS and crappy wood desk much better than my MX500. Others on this forum have also commented on the finicky nature of the MX beast. I just don't enjoy the spread of misinformation.
