I just installed an extra 256 megs to my original 128 on my asus cusl2 and now every other time I boot up win2k will start choking and all the programs that open on startup will produce a bunch of errors and everything will run slow. Normally when I reboot again everything is fine. Any ideas on whats up?

The module might be shot.
Go here
memtest86
download the test program and test your memory. You should have one module in at a time to do the test so you know which module has the problem.

the module being 'shot' doesn't sound like a good thing. How could that be and it still work half the time? I actually can't run that test because I amazingly don't have any floppys on me atm.
