I just bought a stick of 256MB cas2 pc133 from crucial.com. When I plug it into the motherboard, and Abit SH6, I get this message that says "suggests running at cl3", or something like that. If I try to get into the BIOS, my computer just freezes and won't do anything. I cleared the CMOS, and when it boots up next it suggests running at cl2, but it's on a 100MHz memory clock. This time I get into the BIOS. Change memory clock to 133. Change cas setting to 2. I leave the other memory timings alone. Save, and exit. When it boots up this time again it suggests running at cas3, and again if I hit delete to try to get into the BIOS the computer freezes. However, I can also let it boot up normally without any problems. Is there something I'm missing that I'm not sure about? I was really expecting to run this memory at cas2 without any problems, but I can't get into my BIOS. Any help is appreciated.
