I have a presario 5240. I tried to upgrade ram but it is not working. I bought this ram from best buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/detail. asp?e=11009161&m=488&cat=529&scat=530 I dont know why it is not working. I know the ram stick is good because it's working on my other pc's. When I took out the 64 meg stick and put in the new 128, the computer did not boot up at all. Then I switched the slots and put in 128 in primary and 64 in secondary, the computer booted up but it still says is has 64 megs of ram. WTF? I think I did all I could. I dont know if I have to change something in bios. HELP! Thanks in advance!
