New memory problem

Got new memory and now my e6300 ain't stable at 2.8ghz. Its DDR6400 so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Memory checks out fine with memtest.

work the multipliers on the memory to take it out of the equation in regards to stability. Maybe you're not giving the modules enough voltage? Or you are and the psu can't handle it?

If you went from 2GB to 3 or 4GB of RAM, I'd advise you to "recertify" your OC settings. You obviously have OC"d your E6300 to 2.8GHZ. If it's DIFFERENT memory under an earlier OC regime, you should go through the entire PRIME95 tweaking process -- starting at least with slightly lower settings (FSB/DDR) than you had previously certified as stable.

And since you DID OC, re-evaluate the voltage setting. IF the command-rate is set to "Auto", see if it defaults to 1T, or if it's set to 1T anyway, set it to 2T and reassess.

relax timing, pump up voltage a bit see if you gain stability. If no, then you got problems else where.

List model number of RAMs and MB. DDR2 800 don't mean squat. OCZ are junks and often require more Vdimm, NB, and SB voltages. What the heck is ain't stable? BSOD? Lockup? Corrupt windows?
