New memory: BIOS won't let me set it right

So I had to replace my faulty memory with new memory. The BIOS isn't detecting it correctly but it won't give me the option to manually set it correctly either.

Motherboard is Gigabyte p31-es3g

The memory is pc8500 suppose to be running at 1066mhz.
The BIOs defaults it to 800mhz.

In the BIOS, I only have options to change clock multiplier of memory. (this seems different from what I'm familiar with)

The options it gives me won't allow me to get exactly 1066mhz. The options are something like this:
2.0
2.4
4.0+
3.3
(numbers prob aren't accurate, I can't remember them exactly)

The closest option I get puts my memory at 1111mhz. The next step up puts it at like 1444mhz. And the next step down puts it at 1000mhz. I'd rather overclock it slightly than underclock. Voltage is set to 2.2 as the specifications of the memory.

I can't find anything else in the BIOS that has anything to do with the memory. Any ideas?
I know that there is one newer BIOS update I could install. But according to the info on it it just fixes and unrelated issue.

On a side note, is there a system information utility that actually reports correct info?
I have SisSandra which reports voltages wrong
HVmonitor which reports voltages right(thats all it does is report voltages)
CPUZ which reports everything wrong
SIW which reports everything wrong. :disgust:
