New member of the 10k club!

Just wanted to say that I had never really tried running until last September and am now in love with it😀 Having started a year ago but only recently purchased some good running shorts, I wasn't sure if I would be able to run the Nike Human Race 10k in NYC. I took a leap of faith and just went for it.

I had never run farther than 5.91 Miles in my life.


holy **** was it awesome.

10km in 1:01:56 @ ~10:03/mile

For a fatty like me that's great.

Congrats! Ran 10 miles last night as I'm running a half-marathon at the beginning of Oct.

Nice job. Takes me 30 minutes to do 5km, but I'm dead after 5km. I can crawl or walk really wierdly to 10km maybe.
