I bet that will be the next stage - Pro's get touchscreen, or passive 3D, or multiple cameras for a gesture interface like the leaked Amazon phone, and then the Air's will get a non-touchscreen/3D/whatever Retina screen. Trickle down.

Apple is committed to keeping tablets and notebooks separate. They may release a product with a touchscreen and a keyboard, but it won't be a MacBook(pro) or an iPad.
