New MB. Reinstall WinXP or leave as is????

I needed to get a new MB and case. Swapped all stuff out (HDrives, etc). When I powered it up the already installed xp (in the old system) detected new stuff and all seems to be working. But I wondered if it was best, since its a new different chipset mb, to reinstall windows clean? It might detect the new mb, settings and all better?

I ve done that a few times but in order to do a clean job of it I clean out all the old MB stuff in registry and also in safe mode afterwards - chipset drivers, sound, graphic, everything that came with the previous MB and reinstall. You have to know what you are doing though.
Otherwise nothing like a clean instal (or a repair install)
