hi everyone.


here is my problem:

i've bought an athlonxp 2200+ lately but i was extremely deceived by its performance. after asking a specialist i was told that it was because of my motherboard.

it's one of the first MB's for athlon xp and now i would like to change it with a more performant one. the problem is that I get lost when trying to search for one directly from

googlegear and now I would like to have an advice on wich motherboard to buy. i've been told that gygabites, asus, and msi where quite good but I would really appreciate if someone can give me a hand coz i'm really lost now.

PS: I already have a network card, and a GeForce 4 ti 4400 so i don't need any vga or network integrated peripherals.

actually probably the best mobo for an amd athlon xp at the moment is the EPOX 8K5A2+.
Very fast and stable. And perfect for oclocking.
Think this will be the board mostly recommended to you.
