Damn this proves I suck at math. Thank god I found a way to make good money without going through those courses.

that would leave you with v/1/3*1/pi*r^2 the 1/3 is under the v not the 3


fresh gear must be 11, i know we learned fractions before that.


ahh man, i was thinking about it a bit later and realized where i made that mistake.

hey, give me a break, i just came back from summer break!

and i did it in my head, instead of on paper, etc

wait till my AP physics calculus class starts to move along and i'll remember all that was lost.

Wait, you just wanted to convert it to rectangular. So then, why were you asking what to put down for r? Couldn't you have just drawn a right triangle and then used simple trig?

Not sure if you realize it or not, but your way isn't any different, it's pretty much how the formulas (x=rcos(theta) & y=...) are derived. The only difference is, your method takes a little bit longer.
