New machine problems

I just built this new machine. The first time I turned it on, I went into the BIOS and notices that its not displaying any of my drives. Not the HD, CD drive or the floppy. Then, it just shut down. It did the same thing every time I turned on the pc. Any ideas? Dead motherboard?

What are the specs on the machine and HDD? Did you double check that all power is connected to the motherboard and that your HSF is mounted properly?

Asus P5PE-VM, WD HD, Pentium D 805 LGA775, Kingston RAM. I have double and triple checked all power connectors, the HSF is secure and properly mounted. I think the board is DOA, this would be a first for me.
