Well, I picked up a Chaintech VNF-250 and an Athlong 64 3200+. Got my case from Newegg, but forgot to check the voltage on the back, it was at 220. Anyway, on power up, I get no video, no BIOS, nothing. Yes, I did switch back to 110. I pulled out my video card, and tried it in another machine, and it works fine, so does the RAM. The PSU is ok, I bought a new one (in addition to the one I had) to verify. The vid card and ram were seated fine.
So basically, I'm left to assume that either the motherboard or CPU is fried, or it could be both. I'm hoping its just the motherboard.
I guess I'm trying to figure out whether I can do any further diagnostics to get more information, or try something else to get things working. Oh, I've already tried reseting the CMOS via jumper and removing the battery. The motherboard's sitting on cardboard, not on any conducting surface.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Edit:
I'm gonna pick up a replacement mobo, and pray that that's it.
