New Macbook Pro

Hey guys and girls, i want to ask you people something.I heard freom somewhere that there will be a new macbook pro in January 2008.Is this a rumor or a this is a right information?Plz tell me.Thanks

No one actually knows. Nobody. All anyone has is best guesses and rumors to go off of (at least outside of Apple). I don't think they will make a significant upgrade until
A) the 9xxx series mobile cards are out from nVidia, or the 3xxx series mobile cards are out from ATi
B) Penryn is introduced
C) Both

If you are willing to wait until January, then you obviously don't need the laptop now and therefore you should wait until January.

They just did a refresh like last week. Might be awhile until the next one.

May be you are right.I think that was a rumor.Anyways, i already have a macbook.And i will wait for it and then will buy it after the release of a new macbook pro.Thanks for the info my dear friend.

The 2.6ghz processor does not count as a refresh.

I expect an announcement in January.

I will tell you one thing about Apple:

No one ever knows what is coming next. Apple does not leak information or pre-release information outside of their own company's PR system. You can read rumors, but take them as that - rumors are not fact.

It would be nice if they included a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drive...hopefully an HD-DVD drive.
