So I am replaceing my current. Don't ask why. So my budget is about N$6000. As a reference, hardware here is more expensive so. So to get the same value here. Just multiply by 11 to get the same price over here in Nam dollars if you want to make suggestions.

So current build is as follows without SSD and GPU. GPU will be R9-290 when custom ones are out and SSD will be either 840 Evo or M500

Core i5 4440
Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo
8GB Kingston HyperX 1600 Kit
Gigabyte H87M-D3H
Corsair Obsidian 350D
Corsair AX860 (from old system)

That all comes to about a hair under N$6000. Ok so I am posting here because I want to know if there is anything that could swapped out for something cheaper or better performing or both. Or any other suggestions really.

Btw. I am keeping my Monitor so I will need something like a 290.

Do you have site in Namibia that you order from? Or you just want us to use U.S. sites and do the $U.S. x 11? And I assume from your cryptic comment about not asking why you are replacing your current system that your current system has no reusable parts other than the monitor, keyboard and mouse.

And PSU, as you can see in the post.

I work for the only site that you can order from, but being in that situation I can order almost anything I need from suppliers without being tied down by what the retailer deems is or isn't worth getting for a customer. So just use US sites and do the conversion. That would be easier.

I think that your build looks pretty much fine with a few caveats:
- You're paying a significant premium for a fancy case (read: reducing performance in other areas). For example, if you changed the case to a Corsair 200R, you could pick up the overclockable i5 4670K and ASRock Z87 Pro3.
- That RAM might be 1.65V, which is out of spec for Haswell. I can't really tell without the exact model number. There's enough good quality 1.5V DDR3 around these days that you shouldn't have to pay a premium to get it. For example, this Crucial kit.

I completely forgot about the Carbide Cases. I will probably jump for that. Although even with that Getting both the Pro3 and the 4670K will be stretch. I can prob settle for 1333mhz memory instead.

I'm having a hard time finding that board for clost to that price here.

IF you're not intending to overclock though it would make sense to just get the 200R and a 4570 and a H87 board.

Looks to me, that you already have base products there Skurge, with the exception of the mobo....I really like ASRock boards, you generally get more features for your dollar, but other than that, maybe the case, however I dont like cheap cases, so the Corsair looks good to me.
