New logitech MX 3000 keyboard/mouse combo not playing nice with firefox

I just got the new logitech MX3000 keyboard mouse combo. It works fine using IE, which i try to use as little as possible. It also works fine in firefox, that is until I open the setpoint software that came with it. That software allows all of its extra media buttons and what not to work. Once that is opened the back and forward buttons quit working on the mouse, as well as the back button on the keyboard. They are set right in the software. So basically as it is, I either get limited keyboard/mouse function, or I have now back/forward buttons on the mouse, which I use constantly.


Any suggestions?

Okay I now found a review stating that the setpoint software also messes up the middle click in firefox. How none of the other reviews I read of this found these problems is beyond me. But now I am torn, I really like this combo, but only if I can have my cake and eat it to. I want full functionaility from it in firefox.
