New List of All Active DC Projects

This looks like an ideal time to ask a general question of the TeAm.

While researching these projects, I found some confusion over what prime search projects were overlapping with other prime search projects (duplicating efforts!)

Question: Should this kind of info be present in the project list? If so, should only the legitimate projects be listed? Or should the TAC leave those decisions to the individual crunchers?

You might group them by what kind of work they are doing, but I think i'd leave it to the individuals to judge their relative worth... you know, one man's trash is another man's treasure and all that good stuff

I've often wondered about those prime projects. Especially whether it might be possible to create a client that would work on all of those prime-search projects at the same time, since searching the number space is what they mostly all do. It seems a shame to duplicate effort, wasted searches.

Hopefully this is not that off topic, but primegrid actually combines a lot of the prime search project. It sieves for psp/sob, and searches for twin primes, cullen/woodall primes, and 3*2^n-1. You can select which wu you want to recieve from the project pref page.
