A remix CD is a complete cop-out. Nothing like rehashing work that has already been done to capatalize on your popularity. I expect this from boy bands and the like, but from a real band? Yikes.
Instead of working on a new record and releasing it (since Hybrid Theory has been out for over a year and a half), they remix a bunch of the songs that get played every 10 minutes on the radio. If they keep this up, they are going to wind up being a huge flash in the pan.

they remixes are great, but some are too much rap
I was a big LP fan from the start, before they became popular. I figured seeing them on MTV would ruin everything, and I figured this remix album would be step one. But I was wrong.
I dont see how they could have made a remix album any better. Of course I'd prefer a brand new album, but as far as remix albums go, this is the sh*t. Maybe you need a appreciation of underground hip hop to enjoy the rap tracks, but theyre pretty damn good.
Its not quite rock, its not totally rap, its just....different. Ahead of its time maybe.

Yeah, it definitely got more electronic. Hehe a little too much fun with the matrix voices. I dont think many people are going to give it a chance though.
I think a lot of the guests were on spot, even though most of my friends look at it as a desecration of respectable underground MCs.
