Who?

It's in the title.

I clicked on the link and it went to a website with some old guy on it. Still don't know who he is.

Your troubleshooting skills must suck.

He's a guitar player from Fleetwood Mack.

THE guitar player of Fleetwood Mac.......went out with the singer Stevie Nicks and they did a bunch of coke. The Say You Will disk was originaly going to be a double disc release by him alone, but he invited john to play bass for him, and mick to drum......turned into a FM album....

Gotcha.

I'll try to improve my troubleshooting skills.

He wrote a majority of their music too.
These both have a lot of info:

such a good guitar player.
Yes. The man plays completely by finger picking, including his mind blowing solos when he's playing live. I was blown away when I saw FMac in '03. The man gets crazy on stage for someone that turned 57 today.
Here's a 5 1/2 minute solo (starts at 4:30).
Here's a 6 second closer up clip I found.

I love his sound. He mainly now plays Renaissance Model One 'LB' signature guitars made by Rick Turner, which I guess is well known now because of Lindsey. Text

I have 2nd row to his show here this Saturday.

I really like the songs "You Make Loving Fun" and "Say You Love Me", and to a lesser extent "Holiday Road".

BTW, for the longest time, I thought this was a woman.

I saw him playing on that televised Silver Springs concert and he did a solo of "Big Love" and it sounded like at least 2 guitarists. This stuff isn't my style (no 808 in it 😉), but I can appreciate the talent.

Heh. When seeing the name I assume?
Lead vocals in "You Make Loving Fun" and "Say You Love Me" are both sung by Christine McVie. Unfortunately she wasn't on the last FMac album & tour (2003), probably because of her age (63 now). Her and Lindsey are my favs. She had a solo album that came out in 2004 called In The Meantime, her 3rd. The single, Friend, got decent airplay on the station here in Nashville, and I heard it played often in grocery stores, etc.

That same station (WRLT) also played several tracks from that last FMac CD quite a bit (the same station playing Lindsey's single now). We're lucky to have it.

I went to his show here at the Ryman Auditorium last night, and damn, I knew he sounded good, but I never imagined how good he would be, even (or especially) on the tracks where his band wasn't on stage. Last time I saw him was with FMac in our large ampitheater and I was way back in the grass. The Ryman has won Pollstar venue of the year the past two years, but I've been to quite a few shows there and Lindsey has probably sounded the best (along with Toto and Joan Osborne).
Besides sounding good, the man is fun to watch. He really gets into the music, and gets downright crazy sometimes. In the last song, he kept letting people against the stage strum his guitar as he was going nuts on it.

From my count, he had 5 different guitar models (not counting the duplicates he had of the same model). The pics I took of those didn't turn out as well though. I wish I already had that camera with IS that I have been planning to get.

Also, after I guess the show was supposed to be over (already had an encore), the band had left the stage, and he signed a few autographs, and as the crowd kept cheering, he out of the blue asked if we wanted to hear another. Crowd went nuts and he played another. This seems to happen a lot at shows here in Nashville. Does it everywhere?
I remember the Garbage and Finn Brothers shows I went to in the last couple years doing this, both acting a bit surprised and thankful, and Finn Brothers commenting that they'll come back sooner next time.

Here are some pics I took. Sorry for posting them this way.
