Nice cases but the PC-60s are my choice. Still, there might some out there who need a step up.

I kinda liked their simple designs. These aren't bad, the last one is nice, but damn right, they're pricey.

I opted to go with a kingwin.

The cases are hard anodized. A much more costly proceedure than decorative anodizing.

Ya know the aluminum hand rails for public stair cases, that never seem to dull or scratch.?
That is what hard anodized offers. Because of it's nature, it can't be dyed & sealed like
decorative anodizing. Mountain bikes have crazy colors of decorative aluminum but it's
not the hard process.

Lian Li doesn't make cheap cases.

They make quality cases though :) I think I'll have my V1100B for a long long time.

Added the V600.

Looks like a great smaller case for moderate to lower powered systems.

Wow, I like the PC-101 model. I wish the front door didnt have the aluminum colored border.

Well, I'm a "proud owner" of Lian Li PC-7B plus. I bought it online for (alleged) style and quality, and 120mm fans in front and rear (pre-installed) ... but you must have noticed that I put proud owner in quotes. It is a great case, way better than an average case from ComUSA, TD, etc, but there are at least several things that I'm not happy about:
** The plate that covers the back of the PSU leaves a 1mm wide slit
** I could not slide the PSU in without having to bend down (a little bit) the aluminum "lip" that supports it on the window side
** The black cover on the (rear) exhaust fan creates some resistance to the airflow (the holes are too small, or so it seems to me)
** The cable that connects the audio jack on the front of the case is too short to reach the Karajan module on my DFI MB (thanks to the individual pin "extenders" I can still reach it though.
** Those carbon-fiber inserts suck (on the aluminum case that is)
All-in-all I think I overpaid (though I paid just a tad over $100 + shipping) for it. I recently bought Antec 1650B (for $15 AR with 350W PSU) to build a web-server for my inlaws ... I'll just say that people at Antec (though the design kinda sucks) know what folks like us look for in computer cases.

Anybody bought the PC-101 model? I am interested to know how much space does it have for a psu. Some of the psus I have a large such as OCZ powerstream 520 and I am going to get a server class psu. Looking at the picture it seems there isnt much space for the psu even though a regular atx psu will fit just fine.

I bought the PC-201 for a workstation at my job. After working with it for only a short time, I am incredibly impressed. I peronsally use a cooler master centurion 532, and figure if I ever upgrade my computer again I will most definitely use Lian-Li, even though the cooler master is satisfying.

FYI, If you bought a 201 for a personal computer, its probably overkill. With 12 hard drive slots and like 8 5.25 bays I cant see anyone needing that much space for a personal computer. However the cooling and duribility are fantastic, and it is quite light.

Unless you already have the PSU, I wouldn?t worry about it and just choose a standard ATX size PSU. There are plenty of high quality, high power (server class) units that conform to the standard size, Forton-Source and Seasonic come to mind.

I agree with you, but I bet you can't show me too many good quality psus out there which gives 46Amps on the 12v and is priced around 100-120 bucks. I do already have the ocz powerstream 520W psu which is also slightly larger than regular psus. I guess I will just stick with my other low quality cases for now. My V1200 plus does work just fine with large psus as it has large opening for psu mounting. I am looking to get the supermicro PWS-0060 which is larger than standard atx psus.

This is going off topic but.....

The 600 watt S12 has 36A via two 12v rails and is standard ATX. I can't imagine anyone need more power then that.

Just as you said its going off-topic - we had a discussion about this in this thread -

http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=37&threadid=1850312

may be that will give you some idea why I want massive amps on a single rail.
