I've got a long way to go D:

Yeah, my buddy's son likes to pee on him when he's getting changed. Fortunately little girls don't seem to have the urethral force to project a stream; it just sort of trickles everywhere.

Advice, the kid's going to cry but you'll be a lot happier in the long run if you DO NOT LET THE LITTLE GUY SLEEP WITH YOU!!!! Put him in his crib, he'll cry for the first few nights, then you get to sleep in your own bed.

Advice: Never listen to anybody else's parental advice. What worked for them probably won't work for you.

Thanks, but the little guy is already well trained. 😎 He only cries, or make noise when he needs to, e.g. poopy diaper or wet, otherwise he's cool.

When he was in the nursery, all the other babies cried, he just opened his eyes, looked around and yawn. And this was within his first hour of birth. Didn't even cry when they gave him his shots, just cringed a little.

All of this, while new and exciting, is also very cool. I think we'll be OK.

Mine was the reverse; I had the diapers nailed by the second changing, but my daughter squirms so much during swaddling that I can never get it tight and she's out of it in a matter of minutes. Damn tricksy kids.
What, you've never heard of thumbtacks?

(That was my grandfather's usual recommendation for keeping any item of clothing in place. 😱)

That's how my first daughter was. Hoping the second one is the same. In the hospital now. 🙂

Except for Sunny D's advice, cause that's gold right there. Also, if anyone without kids gives you advice, punch them in the face.
