new LCD or new laptop

I've recently moved to an apartment and my 19 inch monitor just takes too much damn real estate for this tiny little place that I live in.

I was thinking about getting a 17 inch LCD (Planar 17.4) but then I started thinking, heck maybe I should just get one of those new Dell P4 laptops with the GF4 vcards. I use my computer for some work and some gaming.

The only games I like to play are football and golf games. I know going with the laptop will cost me about $1000 more than just getting the LCD but space is at a premium in here and if I get the laptop, I won't need a desk for the computer.

You have a solid system if all you stress it with are golf and football games. Go with the Planar... I got a 19 inch one, and it is sweet. You will love it, and save $1,000 in the process.

I would get either the 19" Planar LCD or a Dell laptop (see my current sig).
