So I'm looking at getting a new LCD, mine sorta just broke, but that's a whole other story. I do alot of gaming, minimal photo editing (mess with photoshop), and I definatly plan on playing HD content with Vista, so HDCP is a must. I've been looking alot at the Samsung 205BW. It seems to have all the specs I am looking for and is very reasonably priced for a 20' widescreen. Has anyone had any experience with this screen? Should I go for it, or no? The place I work is having them on sale for $289.

Peace

Yes, it's definitely a sweet monitor and is very comparable to the NEC 20WMGX2 in terms of performance.

Pros:

- Great performance (very close in performance to the NEC)
- Affordable
- 4-way adjustable
- Doesn't have glare like the NEC does during the day; which is kinda annoying when reading text during the day, but not really while playing games.

Cons:

- Minor backlight bleeding
- Angles suck if you plan on using it for presentations
- Not as bright as the NEC (personal preference)
