New LCD monitor, any advice?

Hey guys, I currently own an LG 915FT Plus and have been fairly happy with the performance of this monitor, but it is starting to get kind of outdated and I think the weight from this monitor is starting to kill my table, so with that in mind I'm planning to get a new monitor, and this is where I'm going to need some advice.

I have red up on some LCD buyers guide and I have my heart set on a 8bit panel as it seems to offer one of my most valued attribute in a monitor, color. I've read that they don't hold too well in games but I don't know if things have changed now, the article that I read seemed a bit dated compared to how fast technology moves.

So far I'm looking for an 8bit panel, 22" and price doesn't really matter, but it can't be bigger than 22".

I've seen the NEC 20WMGX2 and even though its kinda pricey and only 20" it seems it got some very good reviews. Is there any comparable 22" like this, and are there any good 22" 6bit panel monitors that are also really good?

The only other 22" 6bit panel I've looked at was Samsung 226BW S, but thats hard to find and the places that do have it are far to expensive.

P.S.
Do you guys know of any monitors that don't make text look so pixalated, I forgot to mention that I read a lot of things from my monitor and I've always found that the text always seemed very pixalated on some of the monitors that I've seen before, but I don't know if that was because of how old the monitor was or what.
