New laptop Windows question

It usually comes preinstalled with a restore partition that you can copy to bootable media. I can tell you what I did - I cloned the basic HDD to my new SSD. Then I removed the HDD and put it away for "Emergency Use Only."

It then booted right up to the SSD.

Thanks for the reply. I want to keep the hdd, would it possible to just install install as normal then clone it to the sdd and switch boot drives in the bios.
