Hello:

I am looking to buy a new laptop for about $600 or less.

I will mostly use it for surfing the web, email, OFFICE apps and playing some games (but I am not looking for top gaming performance since it will be the least use for the laptop).

I am always a fan of getting the best screen/monitor since I think that will be the one aspect you will notice most each day and it makes the most difference in your overall experience.

It seems most of the CPU's can deliver the performance I need so I think just about anything goes there.

I would rank the GPU third in order just because I think most of the offerings will be sufficient.

I have seen many options from manufactures like Acer. Toshiba, Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc.

My real questions are:

1. Anyone to avoid in this area?
2. Any hands down bang-for-the-buck winners in this area?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
