Hi All

Looking for a laptop to handle stuff while i'm on the move, and just wondering if it's worth getting a discrete GPU

The basic GPU is an Intel GMA 4500MHD - the CPU is a 2.0GHz Core2Duo with 3GB Ram, it won't be used for gaming, but for general computing, media and the Aero interface would an intergrated GPU be a hinderance at all?

Thanks in advance

I have the GMA950 in my laptop, and Aero works great, you know, when I decide to run Windows.

I too greatly prefer the glass interface in Vista, at least over the non-glass interface. At the end of the day, I like the borderless (on the left and right) windows that exist in OS X.

Aero will run on the GMA945 and above. The 4500MHD is way more than enough. You can actually get away with some games. You'd be surprised.
