ok at home i have cable, and i just got a laptop but i need all these stuff so how do i hook up my cable at home to the laptop just unplug the wire from the computer and hook it up to the laptop?
 
If unplug it from the computer and ?plug it to the Laptop it might not work if your ISP uses MAC authentication.

Easiest solution dude is to get a wireless router, and use the wireless thats built into your laptop (it should be anyway, on most modern laptops it is)
