Didn't know if I should post a new thread or not but I ended up going with the X83VP-A1 from ASUS and it worked lovely for the first 20 minutes then randomly shut down.
I've never owned an ASUS and so I figured maybe it was just some random occurence. Alas it happens more than once.
After searching for a bit I found a thread in ASUS' VIP forums stating that other users were experiencing the same issue. Seems there is a VGA Card issue causing the laptop to randomly shut-off while connected to a power supply.
So off we go. I hope they fix it. I've got 2x4GB RAM waiting for that perty little thing and it came with the 4670 graphics card not the 4650...which from my understanding is just a 4650 but a higher quality when the die was punched? Oh well. I shall await it's return.
