New Laptop Conroe coming to Lenovo/Dell?

I'm looking to get either a T60 or a Dell laptop in the coming months. I know the new laptop conroes are coming in August, but how long after will Lenovo or Dell include these processors in their systems?

Would Lenovo come out with a T61 or will it just replace the older processors?

It depends. Sometimes with a new CPU that doesn't require much effort to introduce, they might have it available as an option on the day it launches, other times it might be a while. I would say that Intel seems to be pushing their new chips pretty good, and all Merom requires is a BIOS update, so I would expect it to show up pretty close to the official launch. Its getting very close to school time, and competition will be heating up, so if they don't offer a competitive product, they could lose some sales.
