New LAN not working

Hi, I just put together a computer using teh A7N8X-E delux, and the LAN isn't working. I tried installing the drivers that came on the motherboard CD, but no luck. Any idea what's wrong? It's enabled in BIOS.

Green light on the back of the port comes on fine when I plug in the cable. When I go into the settings it shows that I'm being sent packets but receiving none.

The LAN is built into the mobo btw.

You mean the NIC is build in.

If your New LAN is not working, what is your Old LAN comprised of?

I have the same board almost, mine is not the E version, and had to use a crossover a cable for the nvidia nic adapter but not for the 3com adapter. If yours is dual lan try the 3com adapter or a crossover cable on the nvidia adapter. Hope that helps.
