<< As for UT, that is one of the most computer-strenuous video games out there. It doesn't rely much on the video card. Although, while you do have a nice, fast system, I doubt the problem is related to your Kyro. I have the Kyro II and I have yet to see any problems with UT.
BTW, what happens in the crash, does the screen go blank, or does it just freeze, or what happens? >>
the game just freezes.. usually during something very intesive during the game like when im about to frag someone with the impact hammer (which causes lots of blood and body parts) or someone or myself is about to fire like 6 rockets at the same time. then if i wait long enough, it will blue screen. once i get back into windows, a message box says that the system just recovered from a critical state, the error says something about the video not being able to display the rendered images and to be sure i have the latest video card drivers. and my computer isnt overclocked right now even though my system profile may say otherwise. before i left for the weekend, i read the kyro faq and changed some bios settings. i havent had a chance to test it but hopefully my UT stops crashing.
