New KT7A Bios????

AMD4ME2

Ok.. saw this at HardOCP, It appears to be a new bios for the KT7/KT7A boards. Right now im running the WW bios that came with the board. A few days ago I download the WZ but didn't flash it. Now, this is the WZ too, however it appears to be different, as it has a new Highpoint Raid controller bios as well.. 1.10 the other one was 1.01.. check this out and let me know if anyone has tried it, I couldn't find it on the abit site, and I can't get into the abit ftp to check for some reason.

I installed it, no difference that I've seen. I waited on installing the wz, and as far as I know the only diff between the one that went final and this one is the updated HPT370 bios.

Can't really see any performance or stability differences yet.

I finally got the RAID function up and running, but I had to disable ACPI to do it. It was the only way I could get the HPT370 controller NOT to share an IRQ with everything else on my system after I'd installed 3 PCI cards. I didn't attempt this while I had the WW BIOS installed, so I can't say for sure if this helped or hurt.

I will say that I am now running a 1GHz (10@100) chip at 1133 (8.5@133) which I could not reach stably before, and still at stock voltage!

I'm pulling down benchmarks that I hadn't seen before, don't know what exactly the reason is, but I'm not complaining.

Abit was down due to the reason that internet cable was cut. Here is from Abit.

** Due to damage to an undersea cable that has severely cut internet traffic to and from Asia, ABIT is forced to redirect much traffic to our site in Europe.

This problem could take weeks to fix. China Telecom has said that a major cable was cut at about 0800 local time (0000 GMT). China Telecom is trying to reroute internet traffic through satellites and other cables. Taiwanese officials have added that traffic to and from the island has also been affected.

ABIT apologizes for any inconvenience **
