new kt7-raid bios?

I read about a new BIOS update that fixes compatibility problems with ATA100 maxtor drives with the kt7-raid, anyone try this with success? I found a site with a link, but they were beta drivers, is it safe to install them, or is a newer, better version out? I can't seem to find the file (it was UL102 or something) on abit's site

The beta bios works well to solve this problem with Maxtor's ATA 100 drives. I did this myself! Go to
KT7-Raid FAQ and download the beta bios from the BIOS section.
