I just upgraded my system to a KT266A Shuttle AK31 and I stuck in my old 3Com 900 TPO 10baseT PCI card in it and my internet connection is noticeably slower than when I had my laptop connected (which had a LinkSys PCMCIA ethernet card). I haven't used the 3Com 900 TPO card on this network until now...Do you think there might be issues with the network, or issues with my new system? I've tried moving it to another slot, but it didn't help. Also tried using the latest drivers at the 3COM site too...that didn't help either. Should I just go out and buy a LinkSys card?

1.4Ghz Athlon
Shuttle AK31 KT266A board w/ shipped BIOS
512 MB Crucial 2100 DDR
Hercules GameTheatre XP
Gainward GeForce 2 PRO
