Lyrics to KoRn - Yall Want a Single

Artist : Korn

Title : Yall Want A Single?

Album : Take A Look In The Mirror

Genre : Modern Rock

Y'all want a single say f*** that
*** that, F*** that
Y'all want a single say f*** that
*** that, F*** that
Y'all want a single say f*** that
*** that, F*** that
Y'all want a single say f*** that
Boom Boom Boom Boom

What's going on today?
We gotta break away
We got a problem and
I think it's going to make us go down

They think we're all the same
And always we're to blame
For sh*t I think is lame
It's time to stop the game
I think it's time to pay for everything you made me say

Y'all want a single say f*** that
F*** that, F*** that [x4]

What's going on today?
Why must it be this way?
We're going nowhere and
We're still knocking the need to bow down

They think we're all the same
And always we're to blame
For sh*t I think is lame
It's time to stop the game
I think it's time to pay for everything you made me say

Y'all want a single say f*** that
F*** that, F*** that [x4]

We are the ones breaking you down
We are the hope to drown out your sounds
All Across the world you think we're to found
All Across the world you're breaking you down

Y'all want a single say f*** that
F*** that, F*** that sh*t [x4]
F***

Y'all want a single say F*** that
F*** that, F*** that [x6]

Edit: The Video Depicts the band trashing a music store with text messages telling about the RIAA monopoly on all 5 major labels and over 40000 radio stations.

Dude, that video has been out for a good while now.

This is the first time ive seen it (earlier today), suprised it didnt get more buzz. Obviously its not going to play on MTV or on the Radio because of its nature. But i would expect the internet buzz to have lead me to it by now if its older.

Howard Stern was talking about it a while ago (I think it was at least a month ago), and played it on the air. After I got off work, I went home and downloaded the video. It's not a bad video, but I guess MTV doesn't believe in freedom of speech or maybe they classify it as "indecent."

MTV is part of the hell hole that is the music industry, i wouldnt be suprised if they were pressured by KoRns own label not to air it much. It even says in the video that their label wanted them to change the videoand they didn't.:D

Uh too bad Korn totally sold out to the radio single format, them making this video is just about as ironic as britney spears trying to release an indie record bashing the RIAA.

I listen to KoRn and i dont think they ever sold out at any point.

Their music has changed, but it certainly isnt anywhere near pop, and i dont think its written to be crowd pleasing. I dont like their new albums as much as their old, but i think "sell out" is a word thrown around way too frequently in the music industry.

Hmmm I remember a time when there were 3 korn videos in circulation at all times on MTV, all of them containing very expensive special effects and all of them clocking in at right around 3 and a half minutes. Kind of ironic the songs they bash are the exact same formula they used in their own songs. Exploding exotic cars, expensive bullet effects, Todd McFarlane crossovers... quite a step up from songs like ball tongue and blind....

Also, when did Fieldy stop playing bass and start just bashing his detuned metal strings against his active electronics creating a clicking drum sound rather than anything remotely close to bass?

Damn, this song isn't even being played on our rock stations anymore because it's ran it's course, it's that old. Great song, don't get me wrong, but I can't believe this is the first time a lot of you are coming across it.

I like Korn alright. I wouldn't call them a sell out just for having a few cool videos.
