new keyboard

the saitek is really nice....the light up feature is sweet....only downside is no media controls. That is a big one for me, being in a dorm room and all...i like to have full control of my media. If thats not an issue for you...the saitek is perfect

I have been looking at these for a bit now, friend just got the G15 and I'm sold. These are NOT similar products, the Saitek is not programmable, does not have the LCD screen, but it's cheaper.

If you can afford the G15 you will like it, very sturdy, and did I mention it's programmable!

edit: it's also out of stock at newegg, has been for over a week.

Oh, the G15 has media controlls. G15 FTW.

edit2: you can get RSS feeds and stuff like that for the LCD. Oh, and it's programmable as well, c++

The usb ports are only 1.1? When did this come out, 1998?

Hmm, that kinds sucks, would that affect any mice, headsets, or other non-storage USB devices?

edit: the G15 has USB ports.

That Logitech seems pretty cool, I might actually think about it. First I'd have to talk myself into spending that much on a keyboard, though 😛

get the logitech, DO NOT get the saitek. I was thinking about picking one up over black fri, but thankfully I bothered to try it out first. I'd have shot myself if I have had to type something on there. The keys feel like crap to push and the spacing is just horrible.
