New Kensington trackball?

I've had the Kensington Expert Mouse 7 since 2004. That was over four years ago and they still don't have a new high end trackball. Back then it was $99, now it's... $99. It's a great trackball, but I would think by now they would have a new one. Is there ever going to be one?

It has been a long time since Kensington has sold anything they have designed themselves. I'm not sure that they even have a design staff any more. A lot of their stuff is just rebadged A4Tech. So I wouldn't hold my breath. Time to pick the Logitech Trackman or Marble mouse that suits you if you gotta have something new. Of course, Logi discontinued the Trackman Marble FX (the best trackball ever, IMO) and have never replaced it with anything even half its equal.
