I have been wanting to go wireless with my iMac setup for a while now. I don't like the wireless apple KB (no num pad) and even though I like the mighty mouse and have gotten used to it - I've read a lot of bad reviews about it. My current MM's scroll ball is starting to get stuck every now and then and I don't feel like having the new wireless one do the same on me.

Anyways, I have a bunch of bank points where I can redeem them for stuff. I was looking around and was thinking about going with these 2:

Wireless KB

Wireless Mouse

What do you think about this combo - will it look nice, how do they compare, etc??

Again, this won't cost me a dime as I have enough points for both products.

Thanks!

Yeah Logitech is good stuff.

I just got the wired apple keyboard and I love it. I don't mind the wire at all. I would have preferred wireless, but like you I wanted the number pad. The usb ports on the keyboard are kind of nice too.

You know I totally forgot about that. I love having those USB ports there as I connect an external drive right to it when I need to transfer something quickly.

I doubt the logitech has them.....I'll have to look again.

I love those USB ports. Great for popping in a jump drive real quick, and i can just leave the dongle for my VX Revolution plugged into one of them all the time. That way the receiver is close to the mouse for good reception, and the dongle is easy to get to.

Yep.

I have a Dell WFP2005 for my monitor so I have the 2 usb ports on the side of that which are nice too, but I am not sure I will always have a monitor with usb ports built in, which makes the keyboard a nice option.

I also like the feel of the buttons, the low noise, and how the keyboard is about as small as you can make it.
