New Job

So I just got a job at Winco grocery and need some advice on things like 401K and Company stock.

I don't have all of the info on it yet provided by the company, the manager told me during the interview that I have a chance to pay into a 401K and eventually get company stock. They provide some info on Winco's Site

Any help on what I should do? I don't plan to stay at the company forever so is it smart to pay into a 401K?

Thanks

put at a minimum the matched amount in 401k ... it can be carried over once you go somewhere else (even if you wont be fully vested...its not LOST money)

when you leave winco, you can always transfer the 401k from winco to a 'rollover 401k' account with any of the major brokerages (etrade, tdameritrade, fidelity, etc).
