Ok so I left my old job of almost 5 years to this new job August 23rd I believe. The reason I left was because I was moving and I took this job since it was the first thing that was available. Well I got a call from this other company today and I talked to the guy some and made an appointment to see him tomorrow after work.

I shouldn't have any problems leaving this job if I end up being more interested in this other one correct?

Kind of sucks to commit and back out BUT you have to look out for you. I guarantee the company will do the same. I'd go for it.

I agree but I had a very short timeframe to find something so I really had no choice. It's not a bad job but this other one could be better, I'll just have to see.

Unless you've signed a contract, there should be no problem. As others have said, they probably won't be a good reference...and I'd leave them off of the resume.

Companies don't care about you, why should you care about them?

Only if they gave you a signing bonus, or paid for something for you. Otherwise, move on if the opportunity is good and leave this place off your resume.
