If pain = having a nice sunny drive to work down Rt. 78 and not having any traffic, then yes, it has been quite painful.
Nope, but if you went by the news you would have thought that all forms of death and destruction were coming.
I'm in the middle of NC and I'm out of school today. I got up, took and shower and then decided for sh!ts and giggles to see if school was canceled and it was. I didn't even think to check because I could have driven around in my car, threw buckets of water everywhere and blew really hard as I was driving and I probably would have done more damage than Isabelle.
I got done driving around 10 minutes ago(to survey the "damage" not recreate it
) and there are just a bunch of leaves and the occasional small branch.
Maybe living on the coast has skewed my perception of hurricanes? ::shrug::
That being said... I'm not complaining about getting out of school
