New Jersey Declared a State of Emergency...

I'm in New Jersey. What does the state of emergency mean for other NJ residents? They still haven't cleared up everything around my school...and it's starting to rain...
 
lol, Michigan got hit by the same storm earlier today...although I think you guys are getting a little more than us. We treat it as just another day 😉
 
The weather sucks here in San Francisco too. It was about 50 or so this morning when I rode my bike by Ocean Beach. Freaking cold, even in direct sun.
 
meanwhile, this is the first day in months that I chose not to bring my laptop in, so I don't have any entertainment either, except AT and a paperback novel 🙁

they are renting us a hotel room, but chances are, 3rd Shift won't be coming in, so at least one of us will need to be here at all times (currently 2 people here... me and a coworker). plus, the hotel is all the way at the end of the block. I'd much rather stay inside where it's warm.
 
We got around 8 here in MD, it was pretty much white out. I stopped the car, went into taco bell and came out 20 minutes later and there was already like 1/4 of an inch on the windshield. No problems though, gogo subaru symertrical AWD.

I went to work, had 2 hours, before they sent me home. I'm still getting paid for 6.

I don't see anything wrong with the snow.
 
i think they shut down the turnpike till 8am tomorrow so that the plows can do their job without other cars to worry about. prolly close to a foot here (central NJ)

if only I was with a coworker I liked 😉

my roommate is working 3rd shift, though... if he wakes up late and no one tells him about the state of emergency, he just may try and drive out here. that would rock.

I can't ask him to bring my laptop, though, because if I do that, he'll know that I'm planning on staying here all night and thus, will realize that he doesn't have to come in :evil:
