New IT facility near Springfield, MO?

My overheard talk about a new IT underground facility 35 miles from Springfield, MO. I guess it's going to have it's own underground +120,000 square feet area along with possible underground apartments for people working there. It goes online in May. Anyone know who might be behind this? I'm only curious because thats a lot of floor space, even for a dedicated server farm in the middle of no where.

Well, Springfield CU currently has a 56,000 underground facility they use for SpringNet. That's been around for years, but I never knew that it was being used for a large healthcare datacenter, as their website now suggests: http://www.phns.com/it/cave.html
Perhaps they're running out of space?

springfield is a nice college town

it might be in an old limestone quarry/cave
they have some around kansas city that have been turned into warehouses and other facilities, they are very big and fairly cheap for office/commercial space
