New iPod killer?

It looks very promising. I wish they would have posted the specs; I want to know how big it is compared to the iPod. All they said was that it was "bigger" and "heavier". As long as it's pocket-sized I would gladly replace my iPod with it. It should have better sound quality, and the battery life just does it for me.

Personally, I don't think any mp3 player will ever beat the ipod unless manufactures produce the accessories you can get for an ipod, like armbands, 101 cases, fm transmitters, etc.

Ditto. Gotta have my armband for working out. But 24 hour battery life is very tempting.

What kind of battery life do you guys get on your iPod? Mine is a 10 gig second gen that I've had for over a year now and the battery lasts 5 - 6 hours. It lasted 7 - 8 hours when it was new. It kinda sucks cuz I work a 10 hour shift 🙁.

eh, there are been many "ipod killers" yet none have been able to live up to the name. i get 6 hours on mine, but thats just fine for me as i never have gone more than say 3 hours continously listening to music

i woulda been more impressed if they tried to beat the mini. mini is perfect size. making a brick with huge capacity is not going to impress me.

Yeah, I got my mom a iPod mini for mother's day, man, I was jealous 🙂. Those are frikin tiny! I like the controls on the mini too.
