I updated my iPod about 2 weeks ago to the latest firmware so that it could play back Apple Lossless files. Since then, it has been highly unstable, both with hard-lockups and it sometimes skips out of a song part of the way through.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Is there a workaround? What is the best firmware to be using, seeing as this latest one seems to be a dud?
